SVTV Platform Foundation Review

Phase 2 established the operational foundation of the SVTV Platform. Future phases should extend this foundation rather than redesign it unless a deliberate architectural review occurs.

  1. Foundation Established

    • Phase 2 established SVTV Studios as the parent identity and SVTV Platform as the internal operating environment.
    • Hub, Architecture, Projects, Applications, Knowledge, Assets, Infrastructure, Milestones, MCP, and Design Language now exist as internal platform areas.
  2. Operational Infrastructure

    • The platform foundation now includes GitHub, DigitalOcean, PM2, Caddy, GitHub Actions, HTTPS, and documented deployment/recovery practices.
    • Current topology uses svtvstudios.com for the public placeholder, hub.svtvstudios.com for Hub, glde.svtvstudios.com for GLDE, and /opt/svtv/platform as the Droplet deployment path.
    • The Internal Domain Boundary treats every svtvstudios.com subdomain as an internal platform area; public-facing experiences belong beneath the primary domain.
  3. Platform Principles

    • Hub is the launcher. Applications and Projects are peers. Knowledge supports both.
    • Assets belong to the studio whenever practical. Architecture guides structure. Design Language guides experience.
    • Internal applications should assume authenticated studio use and should not be architected as public websites.
  4. Current Platform Status

    • Platform Foundation is complete. Applications are beginning. Internal tools are expanding.
    • The public website remains intentionally minimal, and GLDE is operational as the first active knowledge system.
  5. Deferred Work

    • Monitoring, analytics, build dashboard, authentication, search, notifications, tables, charts, automation, and future reusable components remain deferred.
    • Deferred work should be introduced when there is a real operational need and a clear owner.
  6. Phase 3 Preview

    • Phase 3 shifts from building platform structure to expanding platform capability.
    • Likely areas include GLDE expansion, project workspaces, asset management, knowledge systems, studio workflows, and future AI collaboration.

Phase 2 Complete

The overall architecture is now considered stable. Future work should build on this foundation instead of replacing it. Architectural changes should occur intentionally through Architecture reviews rather than organically drifting over time.
